Popular Choice: Which Camera to buy?

Most of us already have a digital camera. So those of you looking for one or those looking for replacement camera, here is a good resource put out by Flickr called Camera Finder.

Well one can now put your hands where your mouth is. So here is the best camera in each category:

  1. Overall: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT
  2. Point & Shoot (this is the consumer category): Canon PowerShot SD400
  3. Cameraphone: Sony Ericsson K750i

The above rating is based on the no of people using the camera and uploading pictures in Flickr.

Sony has recently recalled eight models of digital cameras sold worldwide between September 2003 and January 2005 due to defect in its image sensor.

The latest recall applies to Cybershot models DSC-F88, DSC-M1, DSC-T1, DSC-T11, DSC-T3, DSC-T33, DSC-U40 and DSC-U50.

SONY supplies CCDs to other manufacturers also, so who knows , there may be recall from those also.
So watch out.

Personally i would prefer Canon.

Making Vista Search your PST Files

Vista can index a lot of files and for some reason it doesn’t index the MS Outlook files.. maybe it is as Outlook is already doing the same.. in case you still want to search PST from Vista Search here is what you can do: Go to the Control Panel Choose "Indexing Options" Click on the "Advanced" button Click on the "File Types" tab Check the checkbox next to "PST" to include it in the search Select the bullet next to the option "Index Properties and File Contents" Click OK and OK again on the message that appears.
